ECLSS Structural Analysis Intern - VAST Space (Fall 2024)

  • Spearheaded structural analysis using Ansys including evaluating material strength, stability, and fatigue for ECLSS air revitalization system

  • Wrote versatile data post-processing/visualization Python scripts for ECLSS trace contamination testbed, collaborated with Ground Support Software team to integrate algorithms into company-wide DAQ system

  • Developing an ECLSS hardware analysis hand calcs excel to enable engineers to track analyses, results, and calculations efficiently

Life Support Systems Engineering Intern - VAST Space (Summer 2024)

  • Owned development, test procedures, and data acquisition for 2x airflow test rigs for Haven-1. Integrated redundant anemometers and orifice sensors to improve flow measurements and recharacterize the cabin fans. Completed 2 PDRs and 2 TRRs

  • Wrote Python script to scan fan and pump RPM data, isolate stable ranges, and extract sensor values to save hours of hand-calcs

  • Made 15ft shielded 8awg wire harness and apparatus for EMI/EMC radiated emissions and “conducted emissions” testing

  • Ran 12hr bakeout procedures for oxidizer particulate samples, and managed installation of VOC/weather monitors in facility

  • Used Siemens NX to design vibration testing fixtures for ECLSS components, working closely with cross-functional teams

  • Managed airflow test rig work orders and procured custom test setup hardware from vendors for technician use

  • Coach for high school students on research methods, writing, elevator pitches, and public speaking for Regeneron International Science and Engineering Fair (ISEF)

  • Winter Bootcamp 2025 event presenter focusing on mastering presentations, posters, and pitches

Systems Integration and Test Engineering Intern - NASA JPL (Summer 2023)

  • Co-led testing procedures of CRISTAL satellite calibration mechanism. Developed required electrical ground support equipment

  • Oversaw Thermal Vacuum Chamber environmental testing, and contamination control for Europa Clipper mechanical supports 

  • Organized and budgeted 10+ PWB quotes and 100+ electronic component orders from multiple vendors. Located part alternates 

  • Extensive cleanroom experience: ESD and contamination safety protocols, handling critical flight hardware, gowning procedures

  • Designed avionics and ground support enclosures using for LEO satellite Carbon Plume Mapper, airborne project SMICES

  • Led algorithm development for autonomous in-flight path-correcting rocket avionics to reach exact altitudes and flight durations

  • Manufactured and designed custom avionic PCBs, taught and performed soldering, wiring, carbon fiber CNC, CAD, and 3D printing
