OreSat- Oregon's First Satellite -is an initiative through the Portland State Aerospace Society (PSAS). I joined PSAS in my sophomore year of high school with the intention of learning more about aerospace and developing my engineering and scientific communication skills.
My Responsibilities:
Technical:
- Use SolidWorks to develop engineering drawings for OreSat's Cirrus Flux Camera mounting hardware
Project Management:
- Incorporate peer feedback and develop actionable items and tasks from feedback
- Hold design reviews
- Work with cross-functional teams to ensure accuracy of drawings, as I was just learning CAD and GD&T at the time
