Co-designed our model rocket's "AimAssist" custom flight computer which controlled sensors (2 altimeters, barometer), linear actuator connections, and MicroSD card data readouts. This microcontroller gathered atmospheric data to understand how high the rocket is in real-time, controlled 3D-printed airbrakes using a linear actuator to reach a desired apogee, and controlled drone propeller deployment and spin to meet desired "splashdown" time. Customized PCB using a Teensy 3.2 along with custom soldering templates for clean soldering.
First female Aerospace Team Leader at Oregon Episcopal School (high school) and led the team primarily in software and electrical engineering to win the world’s largest highschool rocketry competition, The American Rocketry Challenge, in 2021. Competed in The American Rocketry Challenge from 2019 to 2022.
